Another great year at Higley!

Another season's ended. The boats are out, the docks and lawn chairs secured and the birds are headed South. But, as we start to layer our garb and anticipate the "white stuff" to come, I thought I'd share some of John Bartholomew's excellent shots of our loons, including "Higley" who, for a time, had a hook in his beak. Remember that these symbols of the North Country won't be gone forever and when you again hear their mournful cries, it will be time for warmth and another fun season to return to Higley Flow.

Kay Hassett assures me this is NOT another sunset shot.  It's a 10/31/18 sunRISE shot!

For those of you who headed South early, wondering "Did we do the right thing?" Well, yeah, you did. 😄
BTW, that isn't calm water you're looking at. Brrrrrrr.....

And, finally, Fred MacFarlane shows the beauty of the snow-covered trees, and why we were nervous about power going out all day.

Ah! Jean Fallon shared a much more enjoyable shot of our Winter Wonderland.

In case these are the last 2018 pics, thanks again to all who've taken the time to share the beauty of Higley Flow and the life we're privileged to enjoy.  Season's Greetings, one and all!
