Of course, the USGS data is constantly changing.  Here is a record of 4/24-5/1 that's preserved for public interest.  Note that South Colton Dam is one of only 4 dams on the Raquette River that are providing data.  It's a shame that we can't review the water release at Colton dam to compare release rates for those days.

It's BAAACCKKK!  May 4, 2011 - Due To Heavy Rain, The Flood Returns - Water Nearly As High.

Gulf Road Again Under Water, But Passable.  Let's Hope This Is The End Of It!

May 5, 2011 - LAND HO! - S. Colton Dam's release rate has dropped from 12000 cfs to under 11,500 cfs and the next 5 days have only a 20% chance of rain.  My deck/dock's no longer an island.  Perhaps, we're into Clean-Up Phase?
