It's June, the summer has just begun but we
already have a rare treat! There is nothing more beautiful or
representative of the Adirondacks than the call of the loons in the
early evening. Being shy birds, we hear them more often than we
see them and they seldom let us close enough for photos. Thanks
so much to Mary Jo Sutton who captured a TRIO of loons swimming
together on Big Bay.
Then again, there's another representative of the Adirondacks that we'd
just as soon relocate a bit further south!
"Hope
you're
happy;
that
bird
feeder
cost $30.00!"
"Uh...I'm
not
bird
seed,
shoo!!!"
Thanks to Bob Frenyea, son-in-law of Harvey
Smith, we have some better pics of our visitor and some other shots
that are too good not to include.
